One of such managers is Alexander Anatolyevich Romanov. He has been working in the oil refining industry for a long time. This is a complex complex that requires diverse knowledge, taking into account many factors.
However, the path of the specialist shows that he has gone through different stages of the career ladder, worked in several structures and gained extensive experience. Among his places of work, the following should be highlighted:
- The Yaroslavl association “Nefteorgsintez” was the initial stage of the specialist’s work in the oil refining industry. Here he held various positions, gaining the necessary experience in technology and the management of such an enterprise.
- Then there was the company “TAIF”, whose structure includes one of the largest Russian oil refineries. It was this stage of work that subsequently allowed him to occupy the highest position in his career. Then Romanov became the director of the Saratov refinery. This enterprise was then part of the TNK-BP structure. Having successfully modernized the plant, increasing its productivity, the director attracted the attention of other business structures.
He became responsible for the strategic directions of the Alliance company as vice president.
Work in Rosneft
In 2014, a number of emergencies occurred at this largest Russian oil company, including a fire at the leading oil refinery. The management decided to strengthen this section and appointed Alexander Romanov Vice-President of Rosneft.
The specialist has been working in this position since 2015, and during this time he has established himself as a high-level manager with strategic thinking. However, the oil refining sector often requires quick, optimal decisions in the course of the developing situation, in which Romanov also succeeded.
His successes have been noted not only in the corporate environment, but also at the state level. He received the Order of Honor in 2019. The specialist is also a member of the board of directors of Slavneft-YANOS and is involved in public activities.
